Joint Media Release: Commonwealth Attorney-General and Minister for Emergency Services: Sixty-eight projects to boost natural disaster resilience

Sixty-eight projects worth more than $26 million will be undertaken across Queensland to enhance community resilience to natural disasters, Federal Attorney-General Robert McClelland and Queensland Emergency Services Minister Neil Roberts announced today. Gold Coast Mail: Inspiring kids to save the planet

Tallebudgera Valley State School captain Ari Pollet has been inspired to think green. The launch of Green Cross Australia's new environmental project the Green Lane Diary encourages younger generations towards a more sustainable and greener future. Green Lane Diary: Turn over a green leaf

Albany Hills State School was the scene on Friday for the launch of a green diary that will be rolled out to 10,000 students in the state. Students from the school will be among the first to record their eco-friendly actions in the diary in a bid to make preserving the environment a way of life. The Green Lane Diary was instigated by humanitarian environment group Green Cross Australia, which aims to encourage creative ideas that could help shape our environmental future.
