The Green Lane Diary website developed for Green Cross Australia by Zeroseven, was awarded Outstanding Achievement for excellence in the design, development and implementation from the Interactive Media Awards in the 'Charity' and 'Kids' categories.
The honor, granted by the Interactive Media Awards, recognises that the project met and surpassed the standards of excellence that comprise the web's most professional work.
The Green Lane Diary is a curriculum linked education program designed by environmental educators to help children become aware of the stresses our planet confronts and how sustainable living can make a difference.
The judging consisted of various criteria, including design, usability, innovation in technical features, standards compliance and content.
In order to win this award level, the site had to meet strict guidelines in each area - an achievement only a fraction of sites earn each year.
This international award features judges from American Express Company, Cadbury Schweppes, Microsoft Corporation, OgilvyOne Worldwide, Time Warner Inc, Producers Guild of America, McCann Erickson Worldwide and more.
